Ok i had gotten some complaints about people getting to many point so this is what i'm doing. it has been suggested that we just do the first second and third thing again but i feel bad to do that to people that worked out believing they would get points and be able to catch up. so the do top three people with get a portion of their earned points. first place 35 second 30 and third 25 everyone else with get to keep the points that they earned. don't worry about adding the point it has already been done. i hope everyone can live with my decision.
Last Week Challenge!
I'm usurping Ben's authority to decide the challenge since nothing has been posted yet. In order to help all of us go out with a bang, this week's challenge will hopefully motivate us all to perfection. That is, every day that you get all your points, you get a bonus point--making it possible to get up to seven bonus points for the week. Hopefully this will be everyone's best week yet!
And did we ever decide what the winner gets?
And did we ever decide what the winner gets?

Justin here.
I was thinking about the challenge for this week and think it would be better to award the points in the standard format. We would still use Ben's formula, but the person with the most points according to that get's 6, the next 4, etc. I just think it is possible to get too many points with this challenge. I could eat sweets, not exercise, etc. and just need to do a few pullups to make up for it. Thoughts?

This weeks challenge might help people that are a little behind in the points. you can earn points by working out. 50 push ups is worth a point for men 30 for girls. 50 crunches is worth a point, every mile you run is worth a point, every 3 miles you bike is worth a point, every 10 pull-ups is worth a point. that is really all the workouts that i can think of so if you have other workouts that you think should be on the list post a message or email me and i will put them on. you get to add what ever points you earn to your score, good luck everyone.

This weeks challenge is a little different than the first two. This week you need to find time to go on a date with your husband or wife, but not just any date. This date needs to be something active. You can go workout together, play some type of sport, rock climb, it really doesn't matter what your date is as long as you are getting some exercise. It is my hope that by completing this challenge you will be able to find something that both you and your significant other enjoy doing that will help keep you healthy. Everyone that does it will receive bonus points.

This week everyone will be trying to increase their time spent working out. Everyone is already trying to work out 30 min a day so for every additional 15 min that you spend working out you will get a point. The three people that have the most points will win the weekly challenge bouns points. I have made a place to record your points on the chart right under where your miles from last week are recorded

Week one Miles
Just so everyone is on the same page. Tracy and a few others had a good idea of making a row on the chart to list their miles for week one, so i went ahead and made a row for everyone. so sometime tomorrow post your miles in it and i will award the weekly challenge bonus points. first place will get 6 second 4 and third 2. i will also be adding a point to everyone that posted a picture on the blog.

Prophetic Support for the Challenge
In perusing the new Gospel Principles book, I discovered a quotation that I thought might be inspirational to all those participating in the challenge:
"A latter-day prophet has told us that we should keep our bodies healthy. He counseled, "Nutritious meals, regular exercise, and appropriate sleep are necessary for a strong body, just as consistent scripture study and prayer strengthen the mind and spirit." --President Monson (Gospel Principles, pg. 170)
Here's to keeping our bodies healthy and strengthening our minds and spirits! Two days down...

In order to win this week’s bonus points you will need to travel farther than anyone else. You can use anyone of the following methods, running/elliptical, biking, or swimming, you just need to keep track of the miles that you go. In an effort to make things a little more even every three miles on a bike equals a mile and every ten minutes spent swimming equals a mile.
